Booked to do the gin tasting and we were not disappointed. Great service from the staff and a good knowledge of their gins. The food was also good. We sat outside and the view was relaxing. The local cows also wandered over to say hello. Overall a great experience.
Visited this place on their last hour for purchase only. Easy to locate as it is found at the start of Hahndorf’s main street. They offer drinks and food onsite. Staff were also helpful to assist with their products. Purchased their limited edition mandarin gin and the staff gave a suggested cocktail recipe—will be making this soon!

The moment we walked into Ambleside, I was struck by the vibrant atmosphere. Our group was quite large, and the staff had set the table for us perfectly. It was evident that they paid great attention to detail, making our visit even more enjoyable.
The highlight of the visit, of course, was the gin flight. The No. 8 and Small Acre gins were nothing short of exceptional to me. The flavors were complex and beautifully balanced, and I was pleasantly surprised to find myself not only enjoying the taste but also appreciating the craftsmanship that went into creating these spirits.
Throughout our visit, the staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were happy to answer our questions and share their expertise, adding a layer of depth to the experience.
And speaking of adding layers, if you're a fan of Martini cocktails and like it "dirty," you absolutely must try the "Charlie Sheen dirty" twist – it's a memorable and unique touch that adds some extra fun to your evening.

Very relaxing environment to take the family. Accommodating for the little puppy. Service was exceptional. Food lovely, Gin was great. Looking forward in returning again soon.

2nd time here, staff are fantastic very warm and welcoming. The gentleman that served us was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our cocktails not only looked delicious but tasted fantastic. When we are in the area next we will definitely pop back in. Great work to your team :)
We dropped in for a drink and cheese plate. Lovely gin and outdoor space to sit and enjoy the scenery. However the $28 cheese plate was very average. Both cheeses had very little flavour, the crackers were the same, and the walnuts didn’t pair well with either cheese. Lots of dried fruit. Wouldn’t order again.
